About the Marketing Coordinator & Events Manager Role:
The Marketing & Events Manager will be a key member of the Ganek team in developing and executing marketing initiatives under the supervision of the Managing Partners. Additionally, this role will require the management and coordination of all marketing initiatives, be a face and voice for the brand at networking and promotional events, build and nurture client relationships, and develop events while ensuring all goals and deadlines are met. We are looking for someone who is creative and a strong leader when it comes to idea generation and driving projects through completion. Writing experience and pedantic attention to detail, spelling, and grammar is a must for this role.
Currently, this role is an in-office position with the ability for some remote work day flexibility.

- Marketing Strategy & Communications, Project Management (50%)
- Lead marketing strategy across the firm, strategize directly with firm partners, and manage the execution of marketing campaigns for each office location
- Manage a $300K+ marketing budget
- Manage marketing calendars and all marketing communications
- Manage the relationship with the external marketing agency. This includes collaborating on ideas, developing project plans, and establishing deadlines
- Manage HubSpot account and keep all CRM data up to date within the firm
- Manage and continuously refine marketing budgets across the firm
- Oversee dissemination of Ganek’s brand guidelines to all employees, create a monthly internal newsletter, and continuously engage with Attorneys and staff in order to promote internal culture
- Coordinate with firm leadership to create internal processes that are in line with the Ganek brand
- Attend to all e-mail, mail, and fax correspondence received promptly and efficiently, ensuring all internal paperwork is attended to with 100% accuracy
- Keep abreast of any requirements in regards to advertising guidelines, legislation, etc
- Event Coordination & Execution (25%)
- Proactively seek out networking and promotional events to attend
- Represent Ganek in a professional and friendly manner at each event, to network to find new leads and referrals partners
- Be creative in developing and project managing events for Ganek to showcase our services and create lasting relationships with our referral partners or new clients
- Manage budgets and work with event suppliers to provide an event that is in alignment with our brand integrity
- Manage registrations and work with suppliers to ensure the event is well attended
- Report on all networking activities and the success of each event
- Networking & Client Liaison (25%)
- Treat all clients with the utmost respect
- Maintain effective business communication between Ganek and its client base
- Maintain and establish rapport with clients via face-to-face contact, the telephone, video meetings, e-mail, and mail
- Ensure that all client requests are attended to immediately and effectively
- Provide regular feedback to the management regarding clients’ needs and other issues as they may arise
Other Responsibilities
- Internet usage is provided for work purposes only. Personal use is limited to breaks and downloading of any material is strictly forbidden
- Always present yourself in a professional manner that is considered acceptable to the environment you are working in
- Attend any industry functions and staff meetings as required
- Overtime will only be permitted under the direction of your manager
- Weekend, evening, or irregular work hours will be a part of the job to facilitate event presence
Ideal Applicant Experience
- The successful candidate will have 4-5 years of proven experience in a similar role and will be able to showcase confidence and relevant experience in dealing with senior-level management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications
- 3-5 years experience in a similar Marketing role
- Problem-solver, hard-worker and holds a positive attitude
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
- Ability to represent the company at tradeshow and networking events alongside the marketing team
- Strong work ethic with a desire to see projects through to the end
- An outgoing personality and a willingness to learn
