Principals and Managing Attorney

Mark Seib

Mark Seib is the President of Ganek and leads the firm’s Midtown, Buckhead, and Tucker offices. With a passion for innovation and excellence, he guides the firm in adopting cutting-edge technology and streamlined processes to deliver modern, welcoming experiences for clients.

A respected leader in the legal and real estate communities, Mark is a past President of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association (GRECAA), and has served on the Stewart Title Agency Board of Advisors and the CenterState Bank Midtown Board of Advisors.

Mark earned a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Literature from Birmingham-Southern College in 1991. After college, he spent a year teaching English at the Technical University of Kosice in Czechoslovakia, then returned to the U.S. to earn his J.D. in 1995. During law school, he distinguished himself through moot court competitions and clerkships, even contributing to a case argued before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

With nearly three decades of experience in real estate law, Mark has developed sharp instincts for managing closings and keeping deals on track. His strength lies in anticipating and resolving issues before they escalate, an approach that defines both his team and Ganek’s broader culture. Under his leadership, the firm fosters an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality, paired with a deep commitment to service, efficiency, responsiveness, and consistency.

Mark is especially proud of his goal to position Ganek as one of Atlanta’s top workplaces. He finds real estate law particularly rewarding because of the trust clients place in his team, and the opportunity to make each closing feel special and meaningful.

While leading Ganek is one of Mark’s passions, he also enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling, and exploring national parks with his husband, Ted. They live in LaVista Park with their beloved dogs, Niko and Simon.
