Associate Attorney

Peter Lopez

Peter always wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. His dad was a real estate attorney in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area of South Florida, which is where Peter grew up. He earned his Bachelor’s in Real Estate from Florida State University in 2016, working in his father’s firm during the summers. He went on to Florida Coastal School of Law, where he graduated fourth in the class of 2019 and distinguished himself on the Moot Court and Law Review Honor Boards.

In his role at Ganek, Peter thrives on the daily opportunities to meet new people and is honored to serve them through their important real estate transactions and onto their next life phase. Recognizing that these can be stressful situations, he uses his lighthearted nature and friendly demeanor to help clients feel comfortable and consistently strives to have all the pieces in place two weeks before closing to avoid last-minute anxieties. Always aware of the time crunch realtors are under, he commits to providing exceptional service so realtors can trust that their clients are in good hands.

Peter is fluent in Spanish and actively involved with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), where he helps realtors bridge language barriers in real estate transactions, ensuring their Spanish-speaking clients fully understand the documents they’re signing and the legal ramifications of homeownership.

He’s a proud graduate of Florida State and played on the Seminoles’ rugby team. He avidly follows college sports, and also roots for the Georgia Bulldogs. He and his wife, Rachel, who is a veterinarian, live in Kennesaw with their two dogs. They love the outdoors, especially boating on Lake Allatoona, exploring the hiking trails around Kennesaw Mountain, and camping reunions with friends in north Florida.
