Principals and Managing Attorney

Mark Seib

Mark serves as President of Ganek and manages our Midtown, Buckhead and Tucker locations. He’s motivated by a drive to lead the firm to excellence, steering it to embrace innovative technology and refined processes that ensure modern and welcoming experiences for clients. He is immediate past President of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association (GRECAA) and served as a member of the CenterState Bank Midtown Board of Advisors, as well as the Stewart Title Agency Board of Advisors.

He earned a B.S. in accounting with a minor in literature from Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama in 1991. He spent the subsequent year teaching English at the Technical University of Kosice, Czechoslovakia, then returned to the States to study law, achieving his J.D. in 1995. During law school he distinguished himself in moot court and clerking roles, even contributing to a case argued before the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

After almost three decades in real estate law, Mark has developed strong instincts for how to manage the table and keep deals on track. Anticipating problems and resolving them before they arise is a hallmark of both his team and Ganek in general, thanks to his leadership. He’s cultivated an atmosphere of friendliness and hospitality at the firm, but more importantly, an orientation to service, efficiency, responsiveness and consistency. One goal he’s particularly excited about is getting Ganek recognized as one of Atlanta’s best places to work. He finds real estate law fulfilling for the trust realtors, buyers, sellers, lenders, builders and developers, place in him and for the way the entire Ganek team strives to make the closing experience feel like something special and meaningful for the firm’s clients.

Leading Ganek is a labor of love and takes up most of his time, but when free time comes his way, he enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling and exploring National Parks with his husband, Ted. The two share a home in LaVista Park with their dogs, Niko and Simon.
